Hi! For my contribution to our blog, I changed the blog Theme to Notable Coral and customized its primary color to light blue. In doing this, I realized that if I am not careful in making that sort of change can inadvertently cause my groupmates' contributions to disappear. When I looked at previews of the new theme, the Wikipedia gadget that Susan had added disappeared. To make sure I didn't undo anyone's work, I created a test blog of my own so I could have a low-stakes place to test the change to the theme without ruining anyone else's contributions.

Library 2.0 is a " modern social network for librarians and educators".  It can be used as a source of information and education, especially for library support staff. https://www.library20.com/
Hi all! My contribution to the set up portion was editing the date header format, time stamp format, and comment time stamp format. In addition to the “Wikipedia” gadget that Susan added, I added a “Search This Blog” gadget so users can search for key words and phrases within the blog. I also went in to double check my work and take a look at what the other group members contributed.  P.S. I love the blog theme colors that Carly chose!

Favicon

Hello, my name is Michelle and though this is my first blog that I've worked on, I consider myself tech savvy and hope to share some tech knowledge here.  My first contribution to this blog is the addition of a favicon to distinguish ours from other Blogger blogs. A favicon is also known as a tab icon, URL icon, bookmark icon, etc, and is visible on the browser tab for the webpage.  In making this change, I also learned a valuable tip. At first when I was attempting to change the icon, the change was not visible. I learned that to force refresh a website and show changes that were made, I had to press Ctrl + F5.
